Porto Marina - 3rd & last day

This morning...sambung balik Explorace semalam ....team kena rombak balik...so, there were 6 teams....I was in the same group with Farid, Zahrul and one egytian guy...
First challenge: sambung botol mineral water ( small size) in order to get the next instruction.... my team managed to be the 3rd group to complete this task...susah gak woo  nak sambung botol pakai cellotape.... pastu kena jawab soalan baru boleh dpt instruction..dahlah kaki sumer org kena ikat... penderaan!!
Second challenge: minum mixture yg prepared by the team before us...uwekkkss  rasa Doritos..pedas... nasib baik tak muntah...ader gak team lain yg muntah....kesian..saper punya idea lah nie....
Third challenge: :Lari from the beach dengan kaki berikat tu ke next point....jawab soalan before proceed to the boat to get to the 2nd beach... soalan tricky gak...tapi nasib baik we all ni pandai2 belaka  so managed to be the first team to finished though we sampai sana 3rd place...
Fourth challenge: Kat 2nd beach tu, kita kena lari to the first point and jawab few mind boggling questions.... susah gak...tapi we managed to jawab all despite being stuck for few minutes 
Fifth challenge: Susun gambar ...kelakar gak...ye lah..bygkan...all this whilst being tie to one another... at this point, we were at the 3rd position
sixth challenge: Cari bola dlm pasir..sonang jo tu
Seventh Challenge: Amik plastik bag dlm air and bawak plastik tu ke the last check point
Last challenge: Susun 10 btg lidi utk hasilkan 14 ruang...alah, cam main lidi tuh....at this point, my team dah head to head ngan the first team..tapi takde rezeki...so, we settled for second..
Tak kisah ler...hubby ku dpt first place...so, hadiah mu hadiah ku jua.. 
Sementara menunggu team lain habih, we all sempat ler lepak2 and gelak2kan group yg lain tuh..
Iskandar sempat lagi terjun laut coz tak tahan tgk air yg biru tu
After the explorace, we went for a dip kat the firsty beach...cam tak nak kuar jer...sejuk!!!...
The guys siap main water polo lagik...
Then siap2 utk balik....went for buffet lunch...ader prize giving ceremony...dpt hadiah best2 gak...
While waiting for the bus, we went for our last posing session... head home ard 3.30 pm..safely arrived in Cairo ard 7.30 pm due to bad traffic kat Giza...

This morning, we had some activities by the beach right after breakfast... we were divided into few groups... staffs, wives and egyptians were equally divided so that we have a good mixture of knowledge and exposure... we were supposed to have something like an Explorace....
first challenge was to come up with a group name, a theme song and our own team flag...my team settled for "Tiger"...some "artist" managed to draw a tiger for the flag and we change the lyric of the song "London Bridge is falling down" as our theme song...
second challenge: word puzzle
one person had to be blindfolded and taste a number of food...then convey the name of the food to the rest of the team ...using the first letter of the food, we have to come up with a 12 letter word..
susah giler ..coz no other hints were given..macam nak pecah kepala kitorang...dah ler tak tau category ape...anyway, in the midst of doing all that, tetiba ader a very bad sand storm (in arabic we call it khamasin - cam ikan masin jek bunyi dia  )...so, we had to rush into the lobby..we waited for abt an hour ...then the khamasin seems to worsen...so, the game was cancelled and we went back to our rooms...
balik bilik pun takleh nak buat aper.... nothing can be watched on tv coz satelite goyang kot??..so, one solution jer la...ZZZZZZZ....
the khamasin was so bad that our balcony were full of dust afterwards...after what seems like a million years later, baru lah ok...ard 5.30 me and some other family went to the beach...air laut dah tak secantik time dtg semalam due to the sand storm tapi ku redah jua....best giler....tapi takleh berendam lama2 coz ader arabian theme buffet dinner plak malam nanti...
as usual, I was late for the dinner....org lain sumer dah makan2 dah...nothing much...tapi ader lah acara2 lucky draw and 'best dress'...i won a lucky draw..dpt ler pinggan ceramic sebijik...ader satu egyptian couple nie menang best dress...dia pakai cam Firaun and Cleopatra...hadiah sumer best2 woo...dpt trip pergi Hurgada, Sharm El Sheikh....petronas kan kaya
after dinner, Iskandar and Yunus gi main pool...so, me and Fyda ( Yunus's wife) pun do ler melepak tgk they all main pool...sumer kat situ dok tgk jer, pesal ler minah2 nie pakai over giler...after few round of pool, we head back and ZZZZZZZZZ

Porto Marina..here we come.... all of us berkumpul kat opis seawal jam 8 pagi... 2 coaches and a number of cars ( tak ingat dah)... the journey took 3 hours.... nak masuk highway kena bayar toll gak... kereta LE 4 ...R&R kat highway tak sehebat R&R Plus kat mesia... takde langsung tempat untuk duduk2 and eat your own food...ader restaurant and cafe..tapi since we all dah plan to bring our own food, we all end up duduk kat tgh panas midway, bus driver salah jln, so we all kena patah balik....lastly, sampai Porto Marina ard 2.30pm...first impression...WOW!!!!...such blue water...cantik sgt...only the hotel yg we all duduk jer dah siap..apartment still under construction...it has 2 private beaches..one by the hotel side...satu lagi kena naik bot ard 10 minutes...the 2nd beach is nicer...
After checking in...we went for lunch kat Chillies...sedap giler.... the Molton Chocalate Cake is just heaven...yum2 then the husbands have to go for a team building sessions...whilst the wives dok lepak2..sempat lepak by the 1st beach sementara tunggu our turn for the wives' session.... basically we were briefed on Petronas business's in Egypt and then ader Q&A session..being efficient and kiasu i tried to answered most of the q's...but they only let me answer 2 q's...hehehe..dpt ler 2 present...
after the session, I went to watch Iskandar main layang2 by the beach...the wind is too strong...end up, kite tu terkoyak coz tersangkut kat tiang lampu...off we went to get ready for dinner
had buffet dinner...the in door table sumer dah penuh..so, we all malaysian yg bengong ni gi makan kat outdoor table though angin kuat giler...sejuk and nak makan pun takde selera... after dinner, me and hubby went for a romantic stroll by the marina  then, the wind got too strong so we went back to the room for an early night cap.

tak sure whether this is the correct date ... tapi nyer...Puan Sri ( wife to Tan Sri; Chairman of Petronas) and her delegation came to Egypt under the flagship of Petronita ( Petronas punya persatuan wanita where she is the president)...
So, all the wives of Petronas staffs including Egyptians and female staffs were invited for a lunch with Puan Sri at Azhar Park...the Park is located near to the city
So, we went there in 2 MPVs.. all of us wearing national costumes...unfortunately, the angin that day was so kuat... what more we were to have our lunch on the balcony....it was so cold..bygkanlah, pakai baju kurung time winter
mid way of our starter, Puan Sri requested that we change and eat inside...thank God...yelah, kalau tak nak makan pun susah..dgn rambut terbang2...
anyway, all went well....and the lunch was delicious....we had some photo sessions and say our good byes..

Sinai Liberation Day
|
|
Today is a national public holiday for Egypt.... Sinai Liberation Day...to celebrates the withdrawal of Israeli troops from the Sinai Peninsula... kan dulu egypt perang ngan Israel.....so, the government declared 25th May as a public holiday ... today, me and my hubby decides that we just gonna hang out kat rumah jer... he needs to get some rest...he's been working really hard of late..
cian i make nasi lemak today...it's a real joy to hear that my hubby cakap my nasik lemak is delicious... ni yg buatkan i semangat nak memasak ni...hehehe..

Pagi Rabu ni, insyaallah pada pukul 4 pagi (Malaysian time) my dearest brother Rizal akan pergi menunaikan ibadat umrah together with his colleagues. I hope that Allah will take care of him and pray that dia akan selamat pergi and balik.

New beginning

Hi everyone!!
Today is the official first day of my fotopages. Wow, it's cool to have your own "website". Why didnt I learn to do this earlier. Anyway, still not too late. Better late than never rite??
Nothing much is happening today. Indulging myself with the series "heroes" with some borrowed dvd. Too bad, Cairo takde DVD. They are a bit backwards. Only ader VCD. Tu pun citer lame2. So, In & Ije, kalau ader DVD baru...nak pinjam!!!... Hehehe, carikkan citer Ocean 13.
Today, the gasman datang check meter. Here, we have to straightaway pay the bills to the meter checker. My gas bills for this month is 6LE = RM 4. Murahkan?? We use gas for cooking and hot water. electricity and water quite expensive. Last month was 70 LE = RM 50.
ok, want to concentrate on my "heroes".
